2025 Florida Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association Annual Meeting
The purpose of the Florida Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association Annual Meeting is to expand the knowledge and skills of clinicians who care for patients with cleft and craniofacial differences. This program offers interdisciplinary colleagues from various institutions the ability to cross collaborate and discuss latest scientific advances, and treatment options for patients with craniofacial differences.
This program will take place in person at the Nicklaus Children's Hospital Main Auditorium, in Miami, FL.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for students and professionals who provide care to individuals with craniofacial differences which includes but it not limited to the fields of audiology, dental, genetics, orthodontics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, pediatric psychology, plastic surgery, neurosurgery, nursing, social work, and speech language pathology.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to...
- Identify the challenges and proposed solutions to surgical care for children with craniofacial differences,
- Address innovations, challenges and potential solutions in providing dental and orthodontic care to craniofacial patients,
- Identify challenges in coordinating care for craniofacial patients in the areas of general care coordination, speech language pathology, audiology, and otolaryngology, and
- Identify the psychosocial challenges for craniofacial patients and understand these challenges from a patient and professional perspective.

Arriving at the venue
Due to ongoing construction on-site, driving pathways, drop-off locations, and access points may be unavailable. Please refer to the signage available on location for guidance.

Arriving by Ride-Share or Taxi: Please use one of the designated areas for drop-off and pick-up to avoid blocking pedestrian entrances or driveways. There are two available drop-off points for visitors coming to the Main Auditorium - (1) located near the Main Entrance near the Devonshire Boulevard entrance, and (2) located in the Southern area of the driving perimeter, between the Green and Yellow garage.
Parking: Visitor Parking is available for free in the Green Garage and Blue Garage. Valet Parking is offered in the Main Entrance and Blue Garage entrance. Please refer to the attendant for current Valet Parking Fees.
Main Auditorium: The Main Auditorium can be found in the northeast corner of the hospital. If entering from the south visitor entrance by the Green Garage, please proceed. north on the main hallway. If entering from the Main Entrance, please make a right turn into the main hallway and proceed north. If arriving from the Blue Garage, enter through the Tower Atrium, follow the blue dots on the floor towards the Radiology suite, continue past the Radiology entrance until you arrive at the Main Entrance, and turn left to head north on the Main Hallway.
Head north on the Main Hallway until you reach the Gift Shop, then turn left. Continue straight to the end of this hallway, past the Cafeteria and Chapel, until you reach the Main Auditorium.
