Dr. George Kamel is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with specialized expertise in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery. He earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine and completed his surgical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Dr. Kamel’s completed a research fellowship at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital and helped advance the field of regenerative medicine and cleft lip and palate treatment. He completed his Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Rady Children's Hospital/UC San Diego. 

Dr. Kamel currently practice at GK Plastic Surgery and is the surgical director of the Pediatric Craniofacial and Plastic Surgery Program at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
