Domestic Violence

Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees are expected to:

Understand the basic definition of domestic violence, identify the number of patients likely to be victims and/or perpetrators of domestic violence, describe screening procedures to assist in identifying victims and/or perpetrators of domestic violence, and be able to provide patients with information on local resources.

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
