Session Objectives:

After this presentation, attendees are expected to:

1. Recognize that diagnostic errors are a leading cause of patient harm and a contributor to patient safety events, 2. Understand the clinician level and system level factors that contribute to diagnostic errors, 3. Understand strategies to improve diagnostic excellence in their practice.
