Faculty Development Video Series
It is the mission of NCH Department of Medical Education to provide high quality, up‐to‐date, evidence‐based, and learner‐focused education to students, residents, and fellows. The Faculty Development Seminar Series are one of the blue chips of the hospital and are one of the many initiatives of the hospital leadership. In addition, the ACGME and the LCME require that Faculty Development be part of the institution’s culture. These seminar series are created to be a forum for training faculty in teaching, research, leadership, and administration.

Learning Objectives
Following this activity, participants are expected to:
- Develop skills in teaching, evaluation and feeback and dealing with problem learners
- Be able to recognize their own need for continued professional development as a teaching faculty and develop skills in lifelong learning
- Be familiar with innovative teachng techniques and requirements from ACGME and LCME related to learners' needs and adult learning theory
