- (Childhood obesity continues to be a problem faced by primary care providers that is difficult to treat and address. The AAP issued new practice guidelines for addressing childhood obesity. This session will focus on management strategies recommended for childhood obesity including diet, exercise, and indication for medications including new medications such as Ozempic and the likes, and bariatric surgery.)

- (New and improved contraceptive methods have emerged. As of recently in July 2023, the FDA approved the first non-prescription daily oral contraceptive. This session is aimed at assisting the general pediatrician in learning about all forms of contraceptive techniques, indications, benefits and side effects including LARC, and IUDs.)
