Session Objectives
At the completion of this activity, participants are expected to:
1. Understand the scope of vector-transmitted infection in South American Countries and the Caribbean in 2024, 2. Gain an understanding of why it affected South Florida and how we can anticipate similar outbreaks in the future, 3. Know how to order appropriate tests, whether serology or PCR, for the diagnosis of various vector-transmitted infections.

Target Audience
The pediatric grand rounds target audience include medical students, residents, fellows, teaching faculty, community physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and hospital personnel. The sessions are opened to all health professionals in any field or specialty (depends on the topic of the week).
