Below are the most commonly asked questions about this registration option. If you have any additional questions, please contact us at cme@nicklaushealth.org
- What is the difference between enrolling in the course with or without “CME Credit”?
- The course with CME has more requirements, participants will receive a certificate only after completing them. The course requirements include daily forms and assessments, and session attendance requirements. Upon completion of all requirements, registrants will receive an accredited certificate for CME credits, specifically AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM, which are recognized by the American Medical Association. These credits are valid for licensed doctors to renew their licenses or to stay valid. Each country/dept. of health has its own requirements for medical licenses and there are many countries, institutions, and licensing boards that accept these credits, but it is the responsibility of each graduate to find out if these are valid/necessary for their degree/license. This course also offers MOC credits, available only for physicians certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. All course requirements are in English as it is the language required for accredited courses.
The course without CME does not have any requirements, it is not necessary to complete forms or participate in all sessions. Those enrolled will receive a basic certificate indicating their registration and attendance to the course. - What’s included in the Combo Registration Package?
- The combo registration package ($1610USD/per person, with CME Credit) includes registration for the course (all 3 days, plus access to digital content), and accommodation at the host hotel for 3 nights, starting Thursday, March 23, and ending Sunday, March 26. The amount also includes the resort fee that brings additional accommodations.
- Can the stay at the hotel be extended past the conference dates?
- Yes, it is possible to extend the accommodation at the reduced price/night ($345/night), with available dates beginning March 20, and ending March 29.
- Does the Combo Registration Package include taxes or any fees for the nightly registration?
- This option does not incur any fees or taxes (local or state) since our organization will complete the payment and we are a non-profit organization - we do not incur sales taxes. After purchasing the registration packages, we will complete the payment for the reservations for your guests. They will need to present a credit card upon arrival and check-in at the hotel to cover any additional costs during your stay. Please note that any additional costs incurred during the stay will be subject to local sales tax.
- Does this option include breakfasts or meals?
- The only food included with registration will be what we will offer inside and during the event. We plan a selection of light snacks on the first day of the conference before it starts, as we start a little later at 10 AM.
