1. Understand the basic definition of domestic violence,
2. Identify the number of patients likely to be victims and/or perpetrators of domestic violence,
3. Describe screening procedures to assist in identifying victims and/or perpetrators of domestic violence, and 4. Review how to provide patients information on local resources

Target Audience
The Virtual Pediatric Grand Rounds are for Medical Students, Residents, Fellows, Teaching Faculty, Community Physicians, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, and hospital personnel.
The sessions are open to all health professionals in any field or specialty (depending on the topic of the week)
The Pediatric Grand Round Series is aimed at discussing a blend of selected hot topics in Pediatrics ranging from new innovative topics to updates on common pediatric disorders, treatments, diagnostic tests, research, and evidence-based practice. These sessions may include also professional development topics, education, and training, as well as the business of medicine and practice management.
Speakers may range from primary to specialty pediatric care, nursing, other health professions, legal, ethics, child life, patient representatives, and patient representatives. Topic selections are based on CME needs assessments, new guidelines, requirements for accreditation and licensure, various committee requests, and quality metrics and gaps. After the sessions take place, each lecture will be posted as a video-on-demand Enduring Material.

The topic covered in this activity provides up to 2.00 hours of Domestic Violence training required for physicians licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine as part of their CME Renewal Requirements.
Completion Requirements: To complete each Virtual Grand Round course and earn any of the available credits, learners must complete a Pre-Survey, watch the session video, and complete a Post Survey. A fee may apply for those wishing to claim CME credits - this fee will not be charged until the learner has completed the course and is able to claim CME credits.
