Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees are expected to:

[1] Understand the trends in child cases of COVID-19. [2] Know how pediatricians can help ensure children receive the COVID-19 vaccine and other lifesaving immunizations. [3] Be aware of the burgeoning mental health crisis among youth that could likely endure long after the pandemic is over. [4] Be able to explain why every pediatrician is a child advocate and how you and your fellow pediatricians and trainees can get involved in advocacy efforts through the AAP.

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
