Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees are expected to:

1.) Describe the pathophysiology and most common causes of acute hematogenous osteomyelitis (AHOM) in children. 2.) Discuss the medical principles of management in the treatment of AHOM in children. 3.) Discuss the most recent evidence-based guidelines for diagnosis and management of AHOM.
