Objectives
At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees are expected to:
- Understand the rationale and describe main points in the 2020 Surviving Sepsis Campaign pediatric sepsis, septic shock, and organ dysfunction guidelines
- Describe guideline recommendations for the recognition of sepsis, septic shock, and organ dysfunction
- Describe updated recommendations for antibiotic therapy, fluid management, and vasoactive medications in pediatric sepsis
