Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants are expected to:

  1. Understand basic concepts related to the etiology, clinical presentation, and diagnosis of COVID-19 related MIS-C in children,
  2. learn about the incidence, current data, and reporting system for MIS-C in the US, including novel AI methodology for analysis,
  3. learn about the local data and efforts at NCHS for the clinical diagnosis and management of MIS-C,
  4. and gain insight on the principles of management of MIS-C, specifically of the critically ill child.
