Pablo Laufer, MD
Co-Medical Director, Anti-Microbial Stewardship Program
Dr. Laufer joined Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, part of Nicklaus Children’s Health System, in 2016. He has served since 2002 within the Division of Infectious Diseases at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Dr. Laufer earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Asunción, School of Medicine, Paraguay. After one year of pediatric residency training at Hospital de Clinicas, Universidad Nacional de Asunción, he completed a three-year pediatric residency training program at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami, followed by fellowship training in infectious diseases and immunology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. His special interests include patients with recurrent infections, periodic syndromes, pediatric immunization and antimicrobial stewardship. He is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases.
Dr. Laufer sees patients at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital main campus. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
