Objectives:
At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees are expected to:
Be familiar with the IPC classification of Adaptive Sports, Learn the medical conditions seen in the adaptive athlete, Appreciate the benefit of the participation of adaptive athletes in sports, and Learn the special considerations that clinicians should give to the adaptive athlete during the Pre-Participation clearance evaluation.
