S303 - Sudden Cardiac Death Prevention: a Project ADAM approach in the community
Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in the young is a devastating incident that may be due to silent problems including arrhythmias, prolonged QT syndrome, and HOCM. Project ADAM is an initiative that can be replicated in many communities to prepare communities and schools to screen and take action in the event of an SCA. This session will describe a pilot project ADAM implemented at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Data will be shared and guidance provided for communities interested in replicating the project.
