Dr. Robert Buckley is an attending pediatric neurosurgeon and medical director of Epilepsy Surgery at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He then completed his neurological surgery residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, followed by a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital. 

Before joining Nicklaus Children’s, Dr. Buckley served as an attending neurosurgeon at both Harborview Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he was pediatric neurotrauma director and associate director of the neurological surgery residency program. His prior experience includes service as chief of neurological surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu.
