Timothy Schaub, MD MBA FACS, MD MBA FACS
Timothy A. Schaub, MD, MBA, FACS is Section Chief of Plastic Surgery and Medical Director of the Hand, Microsurgery, and Brachial Plexus Programs at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. A board-certified plastic and hand surgeon, Dr. Schaub specializes in pediatric hand surgery, complex microsurgical reconstruction, and congenital upper extremity conditions.
Prior to joining Nicklaus Children’s, he served as Chief of Pediatric Hand and Microsurgery at UCLA and Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children, where he led the development of strategic clinical programs and national referral initiatives. He previously held leadership roles at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, building high-volume multidisciplinary programs in complex reconstruction, limb salvage, and pediatric microsurgery.
Dr. Schaub is an accomplished educator and researcher, serving as faculty for multiple residency and fellowship programs and contributing extensively to the surgical literature. He earned his MD from the University of Illinois and completed his surgical training at the University of Michigan and UT Southwestern. He also holds an MBA with distinction from Arizona State University.
