Heidi Gamboa, DO
Dr. Heidi Gamboa, DO, is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Director of Neurogastroenterology and Motility at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. She specializes in disorders of gut-brain interaction, including irritable bowel syndrome, cyclic vomiting syndrome, and chronic abdominal pain. Dr. Gamboa developed the IBstim program at Nicklaus Children's Hospital to provide innovative care for patients with chronic abdominal pain.
She collaborated in publishing clinical guidelines on cyclic vomiting syndrome for NASPGHAN, highlighting her expertise in functional gastrointestinal disorders. Board-certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatrics, Dr. Gamboa completed her fellowship at A.I. duPont Hospital for Children and her residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.
