Dr. Carmen Ceron Velasquez is a Pediatric Cardiology Fellow at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, where she trains at Holtz Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include integrating imaging, perioperative physiology, and neuroprotective strategies to improve both survival and long-term quality of life in children with complex congenital heart disease.  

At the 2026 All Florida Pediatric Echo Society Conference, Dr. Ceron Velasquez will present “d-Transposition of the Great Arteries: From Fetal Diagnosis to Coronary Transfer,” exploring the critical role of fetal and postnatal echocardiography in guiding neonatal stabilization, coronary artery assessment, and surgical decision-making.
