Anuj Jayakar MD is a child neurologist and epileptologist at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, with a subspeciality in neurocritical care and epilepsy. He completed his medical school at Georgetown University in Washington DC before undertaking his pediatrics residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. He then did his neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital before rejoining the faculty at Nicklaus Children's as an attending physician.

Since moving back to NCH, he has become an associate program director of the clinical neurophysiology fellowship and has been clinically overseeing the neurocritical care service. More recently he was named the director of neurocritical care and is continuing to work to improve patient care, medical education, and advance clinical research,
