Jennifer Aldrink, MD is a Professor of Clinical Surgery and Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Aldrink’s surgical interests focus on pediatric and adolescent surgical oncology, including chest and abdominal solid tumors such as Wilms tumor and other renal tumors, neuroblastoma, ovarian tumors, sarcoma, melanoma, thyroid cancer, and metastatic disease. At Nationwide Children’s Hospital, she is the director of Surgical Oncology, a member of the Thyroid Disease team and the Pigmented Skin Lesion team. She is a graduate of the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed her general surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Aldrink completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

Dr. Aldrink is a member of the Children's Oncology Group (COG) and is the Surgical Discipline Lead for the COG Renal Tumor Committee. She is also an active participant in the Surgical Committee and the Rare Tumor Committee (melanoma and thyroid) with COG. She is a member of the International Society of Pediatric Surgical Oncology, and the Pediatric Surgical Oncology Research Collaborative. She is the current Chair of the Cancer Committee of the American Pediatric Surgical Association. She is also a member of The American College of Surgeons, The Society of University Surgeons, American Academy of Pediatrics where she recently completed a 2-year position as chair of the Program Committee, American Pediatric Surgical Association, and the American Surgical Association.

She lives in Columbus, OH with her husband Mike, and 3 children Elena (16), Caroline (13), and Jude (11). Along with shuttling her active children around for their respective sports (running and swimming), she enjoys outdoor running, reading (historical fiction and selected books with her book club), and wine tasting with friends.
