Michelle Escala, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma, School of Community Medicine, Tulsa. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and completed her pediatrics residency at Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. She has been on pediatric faculty at OU since 2013 and has served as the Pediatric Residency Program Director for the past three years. Dr. Escala works in the ambulatory pediatric clinic, and her most recent exciting project involves teaching medical Spanish to pediatric residents.
