Sai Sudha Mannemuddhu, MD, FAAP, FASN, FNKF

(Sai) Sudha Mannemuddhu is a pediatric nephrologist at East Tennessee Children's Hospital, Knoxville, TN. She is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Tennessee and a Clinical adjunct faculty member at Lincoln Memorial University in Knoxville, TN. She received her medical degree from the Osmania Medical College, Telangana, India. She completed pediatrics residency training at the Andhra Medical College, King George Hospital, India, and Miami Children's Hospital, Miami, FL. She completed pediatric nephrology fellowship training at the University of Florida, Gainesville. She serves as the chairperson of the Department of Medicine and served as a chairperson for the medical records Committee until 2024 at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. She serves as a co-chair for the 'pediatric nephrology in a small group setting' special interest group, aimed at empowering pediatric nephrologists in a small group setting. She serves on the editorial board of the BMC Nephrology journal. She is a Council member of the Section on Nephrology (SONp) and a writing panel member for HEALTHYCHILDREN.ORG, a SONp (AAP) /NKF/ASPN Patient Education Collaborative (PEC). She is passionate about medical education and is the creator and editor of the #ASPNFOAM group that teaches pediatric nephrology topics via tweetorials and the "LITTLEBEANS" Community that disseminates useful pediatric nephrology topics for the wards and Boards via blog posts and infographics. Her interests are Medical Education (MedEd), FOAMed, and Patent education & advocacy. She enjoys hiking, painting, cooking, and brewing kombucha.
