Dr. Daniel Ruggles is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ruggles was fellowship-trained in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and also completed a 4-month fellowship in limb lengthening and reconstruction at the International Limb Lengthening Center in Baltimore, Maryland.  His clinical interests include pediatric fractures and growth plate injuries, and he specializes in limb lengthening and deformity correction for congenital and acquired conditions.

Dr. Ruggles spent over 3 years of his career working overseas for CURE International as Medical Director at the CURE Hospital Dominican Republic, and also served in Haiti, Zambia, and the Philippines. He lectures at national and international medical conferences and is a consultant for industry helping develop cutting-edge orthopedic devices and implants.
