Provide legal representation across the Health System on a variety of legal matters, and provide advice to senior leadership, management and other stakeholders that reflect sound judgment, strategic vision and substantive legal knowledge, and expertise in support of the Health System’s operations and objectives. Assist with developing and providing legal education to leaders. Manage and provide strategic direction on all claims and litigation involving the Health System and its subsidiaries and employees, including oversight of outside counsel and third-party administrator. Manage the Health System’s corporate insurance program, including self-insured and captive insurance programs. Proactively monitor developments in relevant law and pending legislation, in conjunction with the Government Relations team, and advise Health System and collaborate in implementation of same.
