Camila was born and raised in Costa Rica, where she also attended medical school. Her passions for pediatrics started early on with multiple advocacy projects in pediatrics, culminating in an internship in art-therapy focused on children. She came to the US for residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, where she also stayed an extra year to be Chief Resident. She is now going into Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and hopes to continue to pursue her passion for advocacy, wellness and oncology-ICU.
