Stacy Kahn, MD
Stacy A. Kahn, MD is an Attending Gastroenterologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Kahn received her BA from Washington University in St. Louis and her MD from New York University School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Chicago. She performed the first-ever colonoscopic FMT on a pediatric patient with Clostridioides difficile in 2012. Her research focuses on inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), C. difficile infection, and microbiome-based therapies including FMT. She is a nationally recognized expert on pediatric FMT and has published numerous papers and chapters on the subject. In her role at Boston Children’s Hospital, she is a member of the IBD Center and is the Director of the FMT and Microbial Therapeutics Program.
