Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon
Dr. Margaret L. Wright is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with the Orthopedic, Sports Health and Spine Institute and the Sports Health Program at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Dr. Wright completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She then pursued a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Thomas Jefferson University/Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia. Her clinical interests include pediatric sports-related injuries, pediatric fractures and trauma, as well as general pediatric orthopedics.
Dr. Wright is a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America (POSNA) and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at medical conferences, as well as contributed chapters for medical textbooks.
Dr. Wright is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
