Dan Mahoney is a 2010 graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed pediatric residency training at University of Miami/Holtz Children's Hospital here in Miami, FL in 2013, and in 2015 he completed pediatric palliative care fellowship at the University of Tennessee/Le Bonheur Children's Hospital/St Jude Children's Research Center in Memphis, TN. He currently practices pediatric palliative care at Texas Children’s Hospital. He is committed to the idea that no child or family should suffer needlessly as a result of a medical condition or medical system. In his nonclinical time, Dan is passionate about education and research in medical humanities.
