Lissette Perez-Lima, PhD, ABPP
Child and Adolescent Psychologist
Dr. Lissette M. Perez-Lima is a licensed and board-certified child and adolescent psychologist within the Department of Psychology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She specializes in pediatric psychology, providing psychological care and support to children living with chronic medical conditions and their families. One area Dr. Perez-Lima focuses on is helping children and adolescents living with Cystic Fibrosis. She also has an interest in wellness and assisting children and adolescents through developmental transitions.
Dr. Perez-Lima received her doctorate from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She then completed a clinical internship at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Miami, Department of Psychology.
Dr. Perez-Lima is an executive board member of The Melissa Institute for Violence Prevention and Treatment, as well as a member of the American Psychological Association. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at national conferences.
