Veronica Etinger, MD, FAAP
Dr. Veronica Etinger earned her medical degree with honors from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital “Dr. Ricardo Gutiérrez” Buenos Aires in Argentina. In 2004 she moved to the U.S. with her family, where she completed a pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and also served as chief resident. Dr. Etinger currently serves as Chief Section and Director of the Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists section of Hospital Medicine, she co-leads the Clinical Effectiveness Program and she is an assistant professor at Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University.
Her clinical interests include quality improvement, medical education and evidence-based medicine. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, she has presented at medical conferences and participated in numerous quality-improvement projects.
Dr. Etinger is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine.
