Daniel Fein, MD
Dr. Daniel Fein earned a BS in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Fein completed his pediatric residency, pediatric chief residency and pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM)/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Fein joined the Department of Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in 2013 and is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Interim Division Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at CHAM.
Dr. Fein also serves as the Fellowship Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at CHAM and served on the national committee for developing the descriptions of Entrustable Professional Activities that will help guide the education of future trainees in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He is active in the American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Emergency Medicine and is a member of the AAP's PREP E-Med editorial board. He is an active clinical researcher serving as PI for multiple studies and as site-director for a variety of nationally conducted clinical studies. His specific interests are pain control, sickle cell disease and resident/fellow education.
