Erin Bowen, MD

Erin Bowen completed her undergraduate degree at Boston College in 2001, with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Pre-Medicine concentration. She received her medical degree from University College Cork in Ireland in 2007 and completed a 1-year internship in Cork, Ireland. She subsequently completed her pediatric residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH in 2011. During her residency, she received several awards in recognition of teaching medical students and fellow residents. She has worked in private practice for the last 15 years in MA and CT and is currently in practice in Orange, CT. Erin is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves on the Section for Child Death Review and Prevention. After the death of her healthy 17-month-old son Conor in 2016, Erin became involved with the SUDC Foundation and currently serves as the Vice President of the SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood) Foundation, working on increasing awareness of and improving the care for families affected by sudden unexpected deaths in childhood.
