Amanda Clifton, PT, DPT

Amanda Clifton is a graduate of the University of Miami - Nicklaus Children's Hospital Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency Program and a dual-certified clinical specialist with a research focus on the pediatric cardiopulmonary population. She is a member of the developmental care team at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, where she plays a key role in early detection of neuromotor delays and implementation of programs centered on outcome measure utilization. She has spoken nationally on the role of early detection in order to aid in awareness. She is also the Chair of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialist Interest Group within the Pediatric Academy of the American Physical Therapy Association and was honored with the 2023 Emerging Leader Award from the Academy of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy.
