Maria Hayduk, MBA
Maria Hayduk has extensive experience in the medical group and provider market surveys and benchmark development, provider compensation planning, medical practice and organizational performance improvement, and academic medicine. Maria’s education, coupled with her consulting and management experience, provides her with a broad range of skills necessary to address a variety of healthcare issues.
Summary of Expertise
At ECG, Maria leads the Provider Analytics practice, including the production of the firm’s national physician, faculty, APP, and medical group performance studies. For over 20 years, Maria has overseen the conduction and expansion of ECG’s national adult and pediatric subspecialty physician, faculty, and APP compensation and production surveys, and she has played an integral role in launching and expanding the firm’s medical group performance survey for large integrated healthcare organizations. ECG’s custom survey products are developed in conjunction with healthcare organizations that are frustrated by the quality of data and the participant profiles of other national industry physician surveys.
In addition to Maria’s provider analytics responsibilities, she regularly presents findings to clients and industry groups around the country. She also participates in and manages numerous consulting projects within healthcare organizations, including assisting with compensation planning, fair market value assessments, medical staff planning endeavors, and medical group operations.
Prior to joining ECG, Maria worked for Swedish Health Services (SHS), where she supported acute care performance enhancement, primary care physician group development, and business unit turnaround engagements. Before SHS, she worked as an assistant administrator for the Department of Anesthesia at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Education
Maria holds a master of business administration degree from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University and a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering and mathematics from Vanderbilt University.
