Yana Vorontsova, PharmD/MBA, Pharmacogenomics Program Leader

Dr. Vorontsova is responsible for the implementation efforts of pharmacogenomics into clinical practice at NCH. After earning her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree at Nova Southeastern University, she continued her training as an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine. She received training in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacogenetics, Drug Discovery and Development, and Research Ethics. Her research projects involved pharmacokinetic modeling in pregnancy, and natural language processing and machine learning methods for opioid use disorder.
