It defines statistics, starting with measurement characteristics, types of variables (continuous, categorical), and descriptive statistics. It goes on to show types of descriptive statistics such as the mean median, percentiles, and variance. It then proceeds to the mathematical representation of data in statistical software and data file type CSV. It goes a small amount into sampling and why we do sampling
