At the completion of this activity, participants are expected to: Become familiarized with the AAP Guidelines for the Health Supervision for Children and Adolescents With Down Syndrome, Recognize and compare the different available diagnostic and screening tests for Down Syndrome, Understand the recurrence risk for families with children with Down Syndrome based on chromosome test results and learn to identify those cases in which further testing and counseling is recommended, Become familiarized with specific screening recommendations for individuals with Down Syndrome based on age groups.
