The general purpose of the Faculty Development Seminar Series is to:

  • Prepare the teaching faculty for their roles as educators for fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Train new and junior faculty in their teaching roles.
  • Update the NCH faculty of hot topics in medical education, new accreditation rules and regulations, and evidence-based teaching and research.
  • Foster interprofessional education of the various professions that are essential parts of the Clinical Learning Environment.
